To identify a new risk for your unit, access the Tasks screen. On the Tasks screen within the Risks module, select the unit where the risk will be identified in the Organizational unit field. Then, click Identify Risk:

The risk that will be identified will belong to the unit selected in the step above. On the screen that opens, begin identifying your risk by filling in and selecting the mandatory information:

  • Code: Fill in the risk identification code;

  • Identification: Fill in a clear and concise description of the risk being identified. The idea is that anyone reading the identification quickly understands what the risk is and why it is relevant.

  • Process: This list will display the processes linked to the unit to which the risk is being linked. If you do not find the desired process, follow the steps in the Registering a Process article to link it to the unit in question;

  • Origin: Select one of two options: Internal environment or External environment;

  • Risk type: Select the type of risk. This field is used to categorize the risk according to its nature, which facilitates prioritization and the appropriate approach. If no options are available, click Add New to register a risk type.

After all information is filled in correctly, as per the example above, click the Add button. Upon saving, the system will add your risk, displaying the information as registered:

Also on this screen, in the left corner of the screen, you can identify other risks by repeating the instructions from the previous steps.

The identified risk will appear on your Tasks screen for the next step of Analysis and evaluation, as explained in this article.

If necessary, you can delete the Risk you just identified by clicking the trash can icon located at the end of the row:
