The deactivate and reactivate risk functionality allows risks that are no longer in use to be hidden from main views, without needing to be deleted from the system. This helps to preserve history and keep records organized.


To perform this action in the module, you must have the "Deactivate risks" permission enabled in your user role, as detailed in this article.


Access the Search menu and locate the risk you wish to deactivate:



Upon accessing the risk, on the left side under Risk details, the Deactivate risk button will appear; simply click it:



Clicking this button will open a screen for you to enter the justification for why this deactivation is necessary. Simply fill in the field and click Deactivate:



If it becomes necessary to reactivate the same risk, when searching for the deactivated risk via the search screen, the system will show the Reactivate risk button:
